2. Granules in Your Gutters
The granules on your shingles act as a waterproof barrier. If your gutters are clogged by granules or you're seeing sandy grit in your downspouts, it may be time to contact a pro.

3. Streaking or Dark Spots on Your Ceiling
Everyone knows a giant leak is reason enough to call a professional, but water can sneak in without you noticing sometimes. These stains can be enough to cause long-term damage if ignored. Watch your ceilings for discoloration.

4. Moss or Algae on the Roof
These green creatures hold moisture and damage the surface they sit on. It can be a sign of improper ventilation and can cause significant damage if not treated correctly.

5. Your Roof is 15+ Years Old
Roof years are kind of like dog years. 105 years is a lot to be proud of! But even if it looks okay, older roofs often have hidden issues. If you don't know when your last inspection was, it's worth a check!
